In the modern dictionary “Oneness” is defined as monotheism, the belief that only one deity exists. Oneness for me is an antidote to current conditions where people look for differences in one another rather than similarities. This month our swimwear story is inspired by unity “one source for all”.
The woman of “Oneness” is strong and spiritual. Her hair is braided and face covered in authentic make up. In her eyes you can see the past and the future. She is in touch with herself and the world.
About a year ago, I came across a Brazilian Netflix Series “3%”. The story took place in a literally divided society between luxury living in futuristic utopia and poverty-stricken slums on the mainland. The fashion in this series became a start point for our story. Geometric lines, pastel color palette, clean shapes and cutouts perfectly fitted in our idea of Oneness.
The Alicia One Piece started with a circle cutout that represents wholeness, the Self, eternity and timelessness. To highlight its geometric shape square neckline we went with minimal detailing on front. The adjustable lace-up back and high cut leg add sensuality to the piece. A black and white color palette was chosen to enhance the yin-yang idea.
Palm Spring architecture and exterior design was an integral part of our inspiration for this story as well. Minimalistic stone cactus gardens, neon pools and bright colored doors created a perfect place where Oneness exists. The place where we want to escape this summer.
The design for Gia bikini came from the idea of juxtaposition. The slim detailing of the Gia Top vs the high rise Gia Bottom creates the ultimate sporty classy combination, making this bikini set an elegant addition to your wardrobe. Energetic vibes are shining through the blue color while the black color is making a clear statement.
Always looking to make pieces that last, we incorporated in our designs high quality italian fabrics that are chlorine and sun cream resistant and also sustainable. Hope you enjoy it.
Fashion is the reflection of the way we live.
